Ingredients for Masala Pasta
200 gms Pasta
Once water comes to a boil, add the pasta and cook till done or according to packet instructions
2 onions finely chopped
4 tomatoes finely chopped
2 tomatoes pureed
2 green chillies finely chopped
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
Spice powders
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
Herbs
1 tbsp dry oregano herb
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste or 1 stock cube
1/3 cup red wine
1/4 cup black or green olives
1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
1 tbsp butter
Oil
Method
Add oil and butter, saute onions till lightly brown. Add the chopped tomatoes and green chillies, cook till soft. Add the tomato puree and allow to cook. Add the ginger garlic paste, spice powders, dry oregano, salt to taste or stock cube. Mix well, add 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves and 1 cup water.
Add the cooked pasta , mix well. Add the olives , red wine and mix well. Lastly add in the sliced bell pepper and 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves.
For The French Beans And Tuna Stir Fry
Ingredients
250 gms tin tuna
Cut into pieces or shredded
200 gms french beans cut fine
4 onions finely chopped
3 green chillies finely chopped
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp chilli flakes
Salt to taste
1 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
1 tbsp dill leaves finely chopped
Method
Add oil saute the onions till translucent. Add the finely chopped green chillies and french beans. Stir fry and allow to cook till almost done. Add salt to taste, pepper powder and shredded tuna. Mix well and allow to cook for 2 minutes.
Lastly add the finely chopped coriander leaves ,dill leaves and 1 tsp chilli flakes. Cook for 2 minutes.
