This drumstick curry celebrates the aroma and flavour of East Indian Bottle Masala , the creamy texture of the coconut milk ,creating a delectable drumstick curry .
Ingredients
5 drumsticks.
Cleaned and cut into bite size pieces.
Boiled till done with just enough water and salt to taste.
Ingredients
1 teaspoon East Indian Bottle Masala
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon of garam masala powder
2 teaspoons of dry kasuri methi leaves
Salt to taste
2 teaspoons of finely chopped garlic
1 teaspoon of finely chopped ginger
3 green chillies slit
1 tomato sliced
1 Onion finely chopped
2 teaspoons of dry kasuri methi leaves
200 ml coconut milk
Method
Step 1
Heat oil in a pan. Sauté the finely chopped ginger garlic and green chillies lightly. Next , add the onions and sauté until they turn lightly brown.
Step 2
Add in the sliced tomatoes and stir fry. Add the East Indian Bottle Masala powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and just enough water. Give it a stir, mix in the boiled drumsticks and allow it to come to a boil on medium flame.
Step 3
Add salt to taste, dry kasuri methi leaves and 200 ml coconut milk.Cook for a minute on low flame.
