Burnt Garlic Fried Rice With Fried Chicken in Barbecue sauce


2 cups basmati rice. (Was well and cook till almost done drain keep aside)

40 gms garlic fine chopped

2 green chillies finely chopped

1/2 cup coriander leaves finely chopped

1 whole corn. Remove kernels

2 tbsp soya sauce

2 tbsp chilli sauce or according to taste

1 tbsp ketchup

200 gms chicken salami chopped into bite size pieces.

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp freshly ground pepper corns


Stir fry the chopped salami till done. Keep aside.

In the same pan add a bit of oil if required, stir fry the finely chopped garlic till brown .

Add the fine chopped green chillies, corn and stir fry for 1/2 a minute. Then add the chicken salami pieces and finely chopped coriander leaves. Stir fry.

Now add the sauces and the vinegar. Mix well.

Add now the rice and mix well. Lastly add freshly ground pepper corns and salt if required

For the fried chicken


1 kilo chicken pieces

Add to the chicken pieces

1 cup barbecue sauce

2 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp pepper powder

1 tsp Chinese five spice powder

1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

1/4 cup rum

1 tbsp dried basil

Mix well

And shallow fry the chicken pieces till done.



Ingredients for five spice powder

(2tbsp fennel seeds,1 tbsp schezwan pepper ,1tbsp pepper corns,2 star anise1 stick (2 inch) cinnamon

Roast and powder the ingredients.
