Brown Chana & Dill Stir-Fry

A simple, nutritious, and quick tiffin recipe that's perfect for kids and adults alike.


Ingredients


150 grams brown chana (black chickpeas)

¼ cup fresh dill leaves, finely chopped

Chaat masala, to taste

Pepper powder, to taste

Salt, to taste

1 tbsp ghee


Preparation

Soak the brown chana in enough water for up to 6 hours.

Wash, drain, and pressure cook the chana:

Cook on high flame for 1 whistle.

Reduce to low flame and cook for 3 whistles, or until done to your preferred softness.

Drain any excess water and set aside.


Method

Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan.

Add the boiled and well-drained brown chana and stir-fry on a medium flame for a 1 or 2 minutes.

Season with chaat masala, pepper powder, and salt to taste.

Add the finely chopped dill leaves and mix well.

Stir-fry until everything is well combined.

Serve warm.

A wholesome, protein-rich snack or tiffin option that comes together in minutes and is packed with flavour.
