Pork chops marinated in spices and baked then coated with barbeque sauce and baked till done.
Ingredients
2 kg pork chops
Clean and wash well. Add a tbsp of turmeric powder, salt and vinegar and keep for at least half an hour. Wash off well and pat dry.
For the ground masala
15 dry kashmiri Chillies
2 tsp pepper corn
2 tsp fennel seeds
2 tsp cumin seeds
2 star anise
4 inch cinnamon stick
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp vinegar
Method
Grind all the above with just enough water to a fine smooth thick paste.
Ingredients
1 tbsp worschestire sauce
4 tbsp whiskey ( any good brand)
2 tbsp brown sugar
Salt to taste
Method
Add the above to the ground masala and mix well.
Ingredients
1 cup ( 200 ml cup) barbeque sauce
Method
Coat the chops with this ground masala well .Cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 45 mins.
After 45 mins remove from the oven . Pour the gravy using a spoon on the chops. Bake covered with foil for another 30 mins.
After 30 mins remove from the oven, add the barbeque sauce to the chops .Cover with foil and bake for 30 mins or till done.
