A simple beetroot stir fry lightly spiced ,prepared along with its stalk and leaves . Best served as a warm salad or vegetable .
For the Beetroot Vegetable
Ingrediens
750 gms beetroot with stalk and leaves
3 green chillies finely chopped
5 cloves garlic finely chopped
1 tsp pepper powder
Salt to taste
Method
Pressure cook the Beetroot for 2 whistles. Once cool , peel of the skin and chop .
Add oil saute the garlic, green chillies for a minute. Add the finely chopped stalk for 1 Minute. Add the finely chopped leaves.
Add salt, pepper to taste. Toss in the chopped beetroot. Cook for 5 mins.
