For the turnip and potato vegetable
Ingredients
2 turnips or 3 small turnips , remove the outer peel of the turnip using a knife or a peeler and chopped into small cubes.
Also keep the leaves ,wash well and cut , keep aside.
2 big size potatoes or 3 medium potatoes cut into small cubes
1 tbsp East Indian Bottle Masala powder
3 green chillies finely chopped
2 onions finely chopped
3 tomatoes finely chopped
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Method
Add oil, saute the onion till lightly brown using a pressure cooker. Next saute the finely chopped tomatoes,cook till soft.
Add the finely chopped green chillies, ginger garlic paste and 1/2 cup water. Add the East Indian Bottle Masala powder, cook for a minute.Add the turnips, potatoes and salt to taste. pressure cook for 2 whistles on high. Then add the chopped turnip leaves and pressure cook for 3 whistles on high.
Lastly add salt to taste and 1/4 tsp sugar. Cook for another minute.
