8 Kashmiri chillies 1tsp cumin seeds Small stick of cinnamon 6 cloves Cardamom 2 1tsp pepper powder 1/4tsp turmeric Tbsp ginger garlic paste Small ball of tamarind
Soak all the dry spices in 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar or goa vinegar for 15 minutes Grind to a paste Stir fry the paste with little oil . Add salt Once cooled Stuff the masala into the slits made in the mackerel/ pomfrets Shallow fry
