A Quick and Flavourful weekend Lunch for my Kids.
Masala Macaroni Pasta a blend of Indian spices and macaroni making it a tasty dish that’s sure to satisfy their hungry tummies.
Ingredients
300 grams macaroni
Cook according to the packet instructions
Reserve the water.
Ingredients
Knorr mixed vegetable soup ( net weight 40 grams)
400 ml normal temperature water
Mix both the above together and keep aside.
Ingredients
100 grams of finely chopped onions ( approximately 2 medium onions)
300 grams of tomatoes finely chopped
3 finely chopped green chillies
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
Herbs
1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
2 teaspoons of dry pasta mix
Spice powder
1 teaspoon of coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon of garam masala powder
1/4 teaspoon of pepper powder
1/4 teaspoon of pepper powder
1/4 teaspoon of chilli powder
Method
Heat up a pan with some oil, once hot sauté the finely chopped onions until they turn lightly brown.
Add the finely chopped tomatoes and green chillies and stir fry. Add 200 ml of reserved cooked macaroni water. Cook till tomatoes are soft and done.
Add the ginger garlic paste, spice powders, dry pasta herb mix and stir fry. Now , add the knorr mix vegetable soup mixture and mix well. Then , add another 200 ml water and allow to cook.
Next, mix in the finely chopped coriander leaves , cooked macaroni and mix well. Finally add the finely sliced bell peppers and give it a stir. Cook for another 2 minutes.
