This is a Goan style Pork curry. Jeerem Meerem is basically cumin and pepper masala. For this Jeerem Meerem pork curry I have used boneless pork. To the jeerem meerem masala I have added 1 kashmiri chilli to be ground with the rest of the spices. Cut masala consisting of green chilli and onions are mixed to pork along with the ground masala and cooked.
I have also added some amount of cashew fenni to this curry. It just makes this pork curry taste yum. Best served with a simple pulao.
Ingredients 600 Gms Boneless pork pieces
For the masala 1 Kashmiri chilli 1 and 1/2 inch stick cinnamon 1tbsp cumin seeds 1tbsp pepper corn 12 cloves 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste 1tsp vinegar 1 big onion sliced Grind all the above to a paste
Ingredients
Slice 3 big onions., 2 green chillies 1/4 cup cashew fenni or white Rum 1/4 cup water
Method Add the sliced onions, slit green chillies ,the masala and the pork pieces and salt to taste and 2 cups water. Mix it well Put on the gas .let it come to a boil then put On low flame. When almost done add 1/4 cup of cashew Fenni or white Rum mix well. Add a 1/4 cup water . Adjust the seasoning Cook till done.
