For this Coconut sweet used desiccated coconut , sugar and rose essence. The sugar is made into a syrup to a one thread consistency. Then the rest of the ingredients follow. You will love these , its quick and delicious.
Ingredients
200 gms desiccated coconut
300 gms sugar or 250 gms sugar
1 tsp rose essence
2 tbsp soft butter
80 gms powdered cashew nuts
Method
make sugar syrup with 1 cup water and 300 gms sugar to one thread consistency.
Add the desiccated coconut, rose essence, colour, cashew nuts and butter
Keep stirring until it leaves the sides of the vessel and can form a non-sticky ball.
Brush the thali with ghee or oil. Spread the mixture evenly.
After 15 mins give cuts and desired shape.
After 5 hrs or until firm remove.
