Quick and easy chocolate cupcakes for tea
Ingredients 125 gms flour (maida) 125 gms brown caster sugar 125 gms butter , melt the butter in the microwave once the butter has melted add the brown caster sugar and whisk together.keep aside
2 tsp cocoa powder 1 tsp baking powder 2 pinch soda bicarbonate 2 eggs 1/4 cup brandy 1/4 cup warm water
for the spice powder 1 inch cinnamon stick 4 cloves 6 cardamom 2 pinch nutmeg powder dry grind all the above together
sift the flour, baking powder,soda bicarbonate and coco powder together
METHOD Whisk the 2 eggs well using a hand whisk. Then add the sifted flour mix and fold with a spatula. Now add the melted butter and sugar mix ,using a hand whisk ,start whisking . Add now the brandy , warm water and spice powder , whisk well.
Pour this batter in cupcake moulds and bake at 180 degrees for 20 mins.
you can melt the little amount of chocolate and butter together . coat the cupcakes with this glaze . Sprinkle some mix of brown caster sugar and cinnamon powder mix on the glaze. Top it with a piece of walnut
