Chicken Stew

Simple and very basic Chicken Stew . This is a very quick recipe , the chicken is marinated with ginger garlic paste , pepper powder and salt for an hour. Very basic spices used along with some raw rice which is dry ground . The raw rice gives it a lovely flavour and thickness. Cut masala and coconut milk is also added along with fresh coriander leaves .





Ingredients 500 gms chicken 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp Pepper powder salt marinate the chicken pieces with ginger garlic paste, pepper powder and salt.

Masala 1tsp coriander seeds 1 tsp Pepper seeds 1 tsp raw rice 1 inch cinnamon 2 cardamom 2 cloves dry grind to powder

Ingredients 1 big onion finely chopped 2 garlic cloves 1 tsp ginger 3 to 4 green chillies 1 stock cube 50 gms coconut milk powder dissolve in 2 cups warm water

Ingredients 2 cups water 1/4 cup coriander leaves finely chopped

Method Heat up 2 tbsp oil, stir fry the finely chopped garlic, ginger and green chilies. Then add finely chopped onion and stir fry till lightly brown. Add the marinated chicken and stir fry for a minute. Add the dry ground spices , 2 cups water and stock cube. Let it come to a boil , lower the flame, allow to cook. Ince the Chicken is almost done add the coconut milk dissolved in 2 cups warm water and 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves.
