Frankie is a wrap made with various stuffing or fillings like cottage cheese, chicken etc and served as a street food snack in various parts of India.
Ingredients
500 gms chicken boneless breast pieces cut into small cubes.
Marinade the chicken pieces with 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp cumin powder, 1/4 tsp pepper powder, 1/2 tsp chilli powder,
salt and a 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
4 onions medium sized finely chopped
2 green chilli finely chopped
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Heat up a pan with oil. Add the finely chopped onions and green chillies . Stir fry until onions turn translucent. Add the ginger garlic paste and spices. With little water cook the spices. Mix in the chicken pieces and stir fry.
Add salt if required. Sprinkle the finely chopped coriander leaves.
For the Chapatis
8 tbsp plain flour
8 tbsp wheat flour
Salt to taste
Oil
To make 6 nos. 8 inch chapatis
Knead the flour together to make a soft dough . Roll into chapatis , apply ghee or oil to the chapatis while roasting.
1 egg per chapati. Egg well beaten
Chilli vinegar
Finely cut chillies and add vinegar to it and keep aside
Frankie masala easily available in shops
4 finely chopped onions
Heat up the chapati pan. Pour some egg on to the pan making a shape of a round omelette. Place the chapati over the egg immediately .once the egg is cooked remove from pan and plate egg side up.
Spread some finely chopped onions over it. Sprinkle frankie masala over and then place the chicken filling . Put some chilli vinegar over it and some frankie masala.
Roll and serve.

Generally frankie masala is made from dry mango powder, chilli powder , coriander powder , cumin powder and garam masala powder .
