Chicken Curry With Thai Flavours
Ingredients
500gms chicken pieces
For the marination
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp green chilli sauce or red chilli sauce
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Method
Marinate the chicken with the above mentioned sauces and ginger garlic paste.
Keep for an hour.
Ingredients for the ground masala
4 kashmiri Chillies
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tsp pepper corn
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
2 inch galangal
2 inch fresh turmeric
1 inch ginger
4 garlic cloves
1 stalk lemon grass
1 Onion sliced
Method
Grind to paste with some amount of water
Ingredients
2 onions sliced
4 lime leaves
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
200 ml coconut milk
Method
Add oil, saute onions till lightly brown. Add the marinated chicken and stir fry. Allow to cook for a minute. Add the ground masala, mix well and 1 cup water. Cook for 2 minutes, 1 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped. Cook till almost done. Add the coconut milk , 1/2 cup water. Add the lime leaves, salt to taste and finely chopped coriander leaves. Cook till done.
Serve with Rice
