These laddoos/ laddus are prepared with wheat flour, powdered sugar , cardamom powder and ghee. A wonderful delicious Indian sweet prepared during festive season. Easy to prepare too.
Ingredients
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup powder sugar
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 cup ghee melted + 4 tsp melted ghee
Method
Roast the wheat flour well on low flame till it changes colour slightly. At least 15 minutes
Add the cardamom powder to the wheat flour, mix well . Then add the melted ghee a teaspoon at a time mixing well using all the 1/4 cup melted ghee, mix well on low flame for another 1 minute.
Switch gas off. Then put in the powder sugar and mix well .
Once slightly cool start forming into a ball shape adding the reserved melted ghee as needed.
Place a small piece of cashew nut on the laddoos.
