One of my favourite vegetable , love it best with chapatis. I have used the small size radish along with its leaves . I find these tender and not that bitter. Adding tomatoes and coconut gives it that lovely flavour and reduces the strong flavour of the radish , making it taste really yummy.
Ingredients 10 small size Radish with leaves Just few leaves. Wash well, Peel the radish , wash leaves well and finely chop the leaves Cut the radish into round thin Slices
2 onions sliced 2 tomatoes sliced 5 cloves garlic mashed with its skin 4 green chillies finely chopped 1 tsp coriander powder 1/2 tsp turmeric powder Salt to taste 1 or 2 tsp Desiccated coconut or fresh coconut.
Method Add oil to a vessel, add the mashed garlic cloves. Stir fry lightly,then add the sliced onions ,stir fry till lightly browned. Add the finely chopped green chillies and sliced tomatoes. Stir fry for 1/2 a minute , add then the sliced radish , mix well. Allow to cook. Once almost done add the coriander powder, turmeric powder,salt to taste and finely chopped leaves. Cook till done. Lastly sprinkle in the coconut ,mix well and serve
