Nutritious and delicious breakfast savoury pancakes with jowar flour and Channa Sattu flour. Channa sattu is roasted ground bengal gram with its skin and jowar flour is known as sorghum .

Jowar and channa sattu chillas with some fresh sweet juicy mango
Channa sattu and Jowar chillas
Ingredients
1 cup channa sattu flour (roasted ground bengal gram with its skin)
1 cup of jowar flour
1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
4 green chillies, finely chopped
1 teaspoon of coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
1/4 teaspoon chilli powder
Salt to taste
Adjust spices as per your taste
Method:
1. Mix the channa sattu flour and jowar flour together in a bowl.
2. Add the coriander powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, chilli powder, salt, and finely chopped coriander leaves. Mix thoroughly.
3. Gradually add water to the mixture to make a smooth batter, similar to the consistency of moong dal chilla batter.
4. Heat a pan and brush it with clarified butter.
5. Pour a ladleful of batter into the pan and spread it evenly.
6. Cook on medium flame until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until done.
7. Serve hot with chutney or tomato ketchup, or enjoy plain.
