Egg Parathas For Breakfast


My take on Egg Parathas. Did it slightly different. Used cooked chapatis .

I thank my sweet friend Dolours Rosario for introducing me to egg parathas.

My kids who don't like eggs so much .Today had their eggs with no fuss.


Ingredients

8 chapatis

200 gms bacon or ham shallow fry and cut into fine bits

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp chilli powder or according to taste

1/2tsp pepper powder

1tsp dried oregano

pizza cheese according to your liking

3 eggs


Method

Take the 3 eggs and whisk well. Add the oregano, onion powder , garlic powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, whisk well.


Method

Take a non-stick pan. Add a bit of butter to the pan. Place a chapait on the pan. Add generous spoons of egg mixture to the chapati. Add finely chopped bacon bits or ham bits, top it with a generous amount of pizza cheese. Place another chapati over it. Press well with a spatula. Turn over and press again. Allow to cool for sometime.


If u dont have onion powder and garlic powder

you can replace it

with 2 medium size onion and 2 tbs finely chopped garlic.

Stir fry onions and garlic lightly

then mix with the remaining ingredients to the whisked egg mixture.

add salt here.
