Bottle Gourd Kebabs/ Lauki /Dudhi Kebabs





INGREDIENTS 1 big size bottle gourd Peel off the skin and grate the bottle gourd


METHOD

Put the grated bottle gourd in a muslin cloth and squeeze out the excess water. Take little grated bottle gourd at a time.

To the squeezed out grated bottle gourd add according to your taste chilli powder,cumin powder,pepper powder and corriander powder. Little bit of amchur powder and salt to taste. Mix in finely chopped mint leaves and corriander leaves . (A handful of corriander and mint should do. Coriander leaves should b more and little mint leaves)

Add some rice flour and gram flour (besan) and mix well. You should be able to form a ball.

Form into desired shape and roll in bread crumbs or semolina (rawa)

Shallow fry in little oil and on low flame. This will allow the kebab to cook well and less oil will give that crisp on the top and softness from the inside
