These Donuts are known for its soft cake texture with a lift from baking powder and soda bicarbonate.
INGREDIENTS 125 gms flour 80 gms sugar 80gms butter melted 2eggs 1 tsp mango essence 2 drops gel Food colour 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp sodabicarb 125 gms fresh mango pulp
METHOD
Use a hand whisk. Whisk the eggs and caster sugar together well till creamy texture. Add the essence and colour mix well.
Sift the plain flour,baking powder and soda bicarbonate together. Add a tablespoon at a time and whisk well. Then add the mango pulp and mix well
Now lastly add the melted butter and mix well again
Brush the donut moulds with oil . Add 2 soup spoonfuls of batter in each donut moulds.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180degrees for 7 to 10 mins.
Once cool add the glaze
FOR THE GLAZE SPICED GLAZE icing sugar Little bit of water to make a thick paste Add a bit of mix spice powder or cinnamon powder
MANGO GLAZE Mango puree Enough sifted icing sugar to make a thick mango glaze
Dunk the smooth part of the donut in the glaze. Sprinkle the spice mix on the glazed donuts
