Shark Fish Cutlets



These cutlets are made with my homemade curry powder. Here I have shallow fried the fish at first, then once cooled shredded the fish. Green chillies and curry powder are mixed to it ,giving it a lovely tasty flavour to these cutlets. You can use finely crushed cornflakes or bread crumbs to coat the fish cutlets and shallow fry.


INGREDIENTS 300 gms shark fish pieces or 3 sharks 3 big onions finely chopped 2 green chillies finely chopped 1/2 cup coriander leaves 11/2 tsp green curry spice powder or

According to taste add coriander powder,cumin powder, pepper powder,turmeric powder and garam masala. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste Salt to taste 2 to 3 slices of bread Breadcrumbs or use ground cornflakes

METHOD Wash the fish well. Add salt ,turmeric and pepper to the fish pieces. Shallow fry. Allow to cool and remove from the bone and keep aside. Stir fry the onions lightly in the same pan used for frying the fish.add now the ginger garlic paste , green chillies,11/2 tsp green curry spice powder and corriander leaves . Stir fry well. Remove aside.Add the deboned fish pieces. Wet the bread slices a bit and crumble it into the fish mixture with 1 well beaten egg. Mix well and form into round shapes. Roll in breadcrumbs or cornflake crumbs Shallow fry.



GREEN CURRY SPICE POWDER

Coriander seeds 100 gms Cumin seeds 50 gms Pepper corns 40 gms Cardamom 7 gms (30 cardamom) Cinnamon 6 gms Cloves 5 gms (64 cloves) Turmeric 8 gms

Dry roast all the ingredients well. Allow to cool. Dry grind the spices.sift well. Fill in airtight bottles Total weight after grinding 188gms
