Chicken Curry prepared with a green masala consisting of coriander leaves , chilies and spices.
Ingredients 500 gms chicken pieces (breast and leg piece)
Ingredients
2 green chilies 100 gms coriander leaves
Roast the below ingredients 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp pepper corns 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds 2 cardamom 4 cloves 1/2 inch cinnamon
Stir fry in little oil 5 to 6 cashew nuts 1 big onion sliced till lightly brown
Grind all the above ingredients with some amount of water,1/2 tsp turmeric powder, a bit of tamarind and 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste.
Method Step 1 Paste of 2 onions Puree of 2 tomatoes Salt to taste 2 medium size potatoes chopped Marinated chicken in turmeric ,chili powder and salt to taste.
Stir fry the onion paste till lightly browned. Add the ground green masala and stir fry for a minute. Add in the tomato puree and allow to cook on low flame till the gravy is cooked Add the chicken pieces and chopped potatoes cook till done Adjust seasoning .
