Cottage Cheese/Paneer Tikka Masala Served With Chapatis

The cottage cheese is marinated with some spices and well whiskd curd/yoghurt. The cottage cheese is shallow fried and then added to a lovely creamy gravy.

PANEER TIKKA MASALA INGREDIENTS 500 gms Paneer/cottage cheese chopped into cubes marinate the paneer with 1 tsp chilli powder 1/2 cup well whisked curd 1tsp ginger garlic paste 1/4tsp chaat masala salt to taste. Shallow fry for just few minutes. remove and keep aside. use the same pan for the next step

Ingredients 2 for grinding to a paste 2 medium size Onions chopped 2tsp ginger garlic paste 2 red Kashmiri chillies 25 cashew nuts grind to a paste with little amount of water

Ingredients 3 1/2 cup curd whisked well 3 tbsp kasuri methi / dry fenugreek leaves salt to taste 1/4 tsp chaat masala 1tbsp chilli powder or according to taste.

METHOD In the same pan add oil if only required. Add the ingredients 2 ( ground paste) and stir fry well for a minute. Then add the whisked curd on medium flame and keep stirring and cooking for 1/2 a minute. Add the chill powder, kasuri methi ( dried Fenugreek leaves), chaat masala and salt to taste. Cook for a minute on medium flame stirring occasionally. Lastly add the fried paneer , cook for 1/2 minute.
