Though Beef is not much on our menu card, once in a while it is a great alternative to Pork for a vindaloo. The taste was divine in every way. Added potatoes with its skin which added more flavour to the vindaloo. Potato with its skin added to curries ,took me down memory lane. My dad who was a great cook , would always add it into curries and made sure we ate the potatoes with its skin. Was not sure whether my kids would love it this way, well I thought , no harm in giving it a try and see their reaction. Wow I was amazed , unlike me as kid who never like it and fussed about it ,my kiddos loved it.
Used East Indian vindaloo masala to make this vindaloo curry. It turned out very yum. My family enjoyed it . The beef marinated in spices and left to marinate for an hour. A separate vindaloo masala ground for the curry.
