Fried Mackerel with Vindaloo Masala

Curry , Rice , Fried Fish In East Indian Vindaloo Masala

For the Plain Curry

Ingredients 6 kashmiri chillies 1 tbsp Coriander seeds 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp pepper corns Small ball of tamarind 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste 1 1/2 cup desicated coconut

Grind all the above ingredients with some amount of water


Add some amount of oil , few curry leaves Add in 2 sliced onions and stir fry till lightly browned. Add the ground masala and some water allow to come to a boil and cook on medium flame for 2 mins. Add 2 green chillies and salt to taste.

Fried Fish

For the masala East Indian vindaloo Masala

30 kashmiri chilies. Deseed the chilies 30 cloves of garlic 2 tbsp cumin seeds 1/4 Tsp turmeric powder 1 1/2 cup white Vinegar 2 tsp sugar Salt to taste

Grind the above to a paste without adding any water.

Add oil to a pan and fry this masala for a minute. Remove and cool

Method Stuff the mackerel on both sides with this masala. You will get at least 20 stuffed mackerel

Shallow fry the fish

Or use as much as you need and rest u can put in an airtight container and keep in deep freeze in batches and use as required

For frying chicken, fish
