East Indian Chicken Curry

A Simple Chicken curry with green masala and East Indian bottle masala.


800 gms of chicken pieces

marinate the pieces with 2 tsp bottle masala ,1tsp ginger garlic paste and salt.

Ingredients 2

100 gms coriander leaves

few mint leaves around 10 gms

2 green chillies

1tbsp ginger garlic paste

grind to a paste adding some amount of water.

Ingredients 3

1tbspbEast Indian Bottle Masala or according to taste.

200 ml thick coconut milk

3 Onions medium size finely sliced

2 tomatoes finely chopped


Add some oil to a vessel and heat up. Sear the marinated chicken pieces . Remove and keep aside.

Add in the finely chopped onions and stir fry till lightly browned.

Add the tomatoes and cook till soft. stir frying on off. (Adding a bit of water helps the tomatoes to cook quick also adding a bit of salt helps this process)

Add the green masala and cook for a minute.

Then add the bottle masala and some amount of water.

Allow to cook for 1/2 a minute. Add the Chicken pieces and cook till done

Adjust the seasoning and lastly add the coconut milk.
